Helping Communities by Impacting Student Lives

Knowledge is the key to lasting change and informed decision making. With this in mind, the Alliant Educational Foundation is helping drive student success by providing targeted scholarships to well-deserving students.

Over the past year, we have partnered with Alliant International University to fund $750,000 in scholarships and tuition support, benefiting over 500 students across the seven campuses and schools within the Alliant educational system.

In total, AEF’s donations now stand at nearly $10 million – helping thousands of students pursue their professional dreams.

The Alliant Educational Foundation now also manages approximately $8 million in private endowment funds for a variety of scholarships and programs. In 2024 alone, the Foundation invested over $250,000 in student scholarships and fellowships from these endowments, along with general operating funds.

AEF’s large bank of managed scholarships makes a profound difference in the lives of many and are carefully targeted to a diverse range of students and professions, including:

  • Andrew Curry Memorial Scholarship, awarded to a CSPP-San Francisco (Emeryville) Clinical Psychology student who is committed to serving the African American community.
  • Stephanie Byers-Bell Scholarship, awarded to a CSPP-Los Angeles (Alhambra) doctoral student demonstrating past service and/or a commitment to serving underrepresented or underserved communities completing their dissertation with a focus on racial and/or gender equality.
  • The Connell Persico Scholarship for Significant Contributions to the LGBT Community is awarded to an Alliant CSPP student displaying significant contributions to the LGBT Community.
  • The Lucile Phillips Morrison Disabled Student Scholarship is awarded to an Alliant student on the Los Angeles campus with physical, mental or learning disability.

The “AEF Fellows” Program

Fall 2025 marked the launch of the third cohort of the AEF Fellows, a growing program currently supporting 19 incoming students across California in their pursuit of PhD and PsyD degrees in clinical psychology. Selected based on referrals from faculty, a majority of AEF Fellows share a deep commitment to social justice and community impact, have high GPAs and a financial need. Some are the first in their families to attend college or graduate school.

This program is designed to support up to 100 students with multi-year scholarships, peer connections, mentorship, and more.
