AEF is the result of a productive and collaborative partnership. It was created in 2015 when Alliant International University converted to a public-benefit corporation, and the non-profit assets, including student scholarships, faculty research grants, and San Diego land ownership, were transferred to the new Alliant Educational Foundation. Since then, AEF has also become the alumni hub for the University as well.
AEF is dedicated to supporting student scholarships, alumni support, faculty research grants, and broader community impact needs across California.
A core component of AEF’s mission is to support post-secondary students from a diversity of backgrounds as they prepare for careers of service and leadership that improve lives in underserved communities.
A world of healthy communities that value learning, equality, and dignity
By concentrating on the importance of education, our core mission is to build bridges between under-resourced communities, universities, and other organizations to create a more equitable, healthy, and just society
The Alliant Educational Foundation has a creative and collaborative partnership with Alliant International University.
Throughout 2024, we’ve donated more than $750,000 for student scholarships across the Alliant campuses, primarily providing funds for students pursuing advanced degrees in helping professions, including psychology, education and nursing.
AEF also served as the fiscal agent for faculty grants and contracts, launched our fourth round of faculty and staff innovation/seed grants, expanded our Mental Health Consortium to the San Francisco/Bay Area, and helped fund the launch of a new in-house telehealth clinic at the Alliant International University-Sacramento campus.
In addition, our Fellows program is in its third year of mentorship to support California School of Professional Psychology (CSPP) students throughout their doctoral journey. Our newest initiative is in development to support more effective interaction between individuals experiencing mental illness and police officers.
